Realizing that she's put Carly's life in danger, Julia waits anxiously to hear from Jack. Listening in through the electronic listening device, Jack panics as he hears Craig accuse Carly of betraying him. Jack tries to call to warn Carly but Craig grabs her phone. Jack runs inside and manages to distract Craig so he can warn Carly. After she rips off the wire, Craig is surprised that she isn't wearing the "gift" from Hal and Jack. However, he forces her to make the transfer with Mei Lin by her side. Cindy's computer expert pronounces the chips out of date and thus useless. Meanwhile, Hal blasts Julia for ruining their plans. Jennifer runs to Bryant and lets him know that Barbara is having an affair with his father. She cries that her family is falling apart and wonders what she can do about it. Bryant learns from Margo and Tom that the man he identified in the police mug shot book as being part of Ruby's jewelry con died in prison two years ago. Margo suggests that Ruby's a phony too and doesn't advise it when Jennifer offers to testify on her boyfriend's behalf. Meanwhile, Gabriel makes a delivery of booze to an unsuspecting Isaac and learns that Bryant was fired for stealing money from the cash register. Isaac also informs him that Bryant's family owns almost half of Oakdale. He runs to Ruby and suggests that they're not finished with Bryant.

Having heard nothing from Carly, Hal guesses to Jack that she set them up and was working with Craig the entire time. Hearing that Carly was spotted at the Lakeview, Hal quickly realizes they can set up another sting but Jack won't allow it. Carly angrily confronts Craig and accuses him of trying to pull a fast one. Hearing that the chips were not Department of Defense prototypes as he thought, Craig panics when he thinks about the syndicate's money that was wasted on this project. He worries further when Carly reveals that Cindy's goon destroyed the chips. After Carly leaves to fill in Jack and Hal, Mei Lin urges Craig to "get rid of Carly." He refuses and decides to find out where Winston hid the money he gave him. Holden picks up Luke for the day and quietly wishes Lily a happy anniversary. Later at the barn, Holden's touched when he secretly watches Rose showing Luke how to dance. As he pulls her to him, Holden surprises Rose with a kiss. Embarrassed, Holden pulls back and apologizes but Rose quickly states that she's going to circle today's date on the calendar to remind her when he kissed her for the first time. Henry finds Chris and Emily at odds and surmises that their relationship is on the rocks. Emily blames Chris's expression of love for her as the reason behind their troubles. He runs to Holden and advises him that Henry's all upset because of Holden's questioning about Flashdance the horse.

Holden explains to Chris that the guy who sold him the horse is the same person who took Carly to Hong Kong. They interview Phillips in prison and learn that Winston arranged the sale of the horse. However, when they ask about Henry's involvement, the con clams up which makes Holden guess that Henry is somehow linked to Winston. Though Lily refuses the offer at first, Rose convinces Lily to allow her to distract the Halliwell so that she can secretly meet with Simon. Lily finally comes around and when Rose poses as Lily, she has success in convincing the INS agent that she and Simon are merely friends. Luke and then Holden arrive and find Rose posing as Lily. Meanwhile, Katie offers herself to Simon again but he's not interested. She offers him a guitar as a gift. When Lily arrives and takes Simon away, Katie turns to Henry for advice in winning Simon. He suggests fixing her breaks but when she turns down that idea, he comes up with another. Kim makes Molly an offer she can't refuse and asks her to return to WOAK to anchor the news because the audience "responds to her." Molly asks Kim for time to consider the offer and then worries to Jake that she's concerned about Vicky's "haunting" getting in the way. Jake assures Molly that he's in favor of her returning to work and convinces her to call Kim and accept the job offer.
